Focus for 25 minutes, break for 5. The proven technique for deep work and better studying.
Developed by Francesco Cirillo in the late 1980s, the Pomodoro Technique is a time management method that breaks work into focused intervals (traditionally 25 minutes), separated by short breaks. After four pomodoros, you take a longer break.
The technique works by creating urgency (a short deadline makes it easier to start), preventing burnout (regular breaks maintain energy), and improving focus (single-tasking beats multitasking for complex work).
